Start your day with a hotel pickup in Quito at 8:00 am. From there, enjoy a scenic drive through the Andean highlands as you make your way to the lush Mindo Cloud Forest. Upon arrival in Mindo, you’ll start your day by visiting one of Mindo’s most popular attractions. Choose between the Butterfly Farm, where you can observe hundreds of vibrant butterflies in their natural habitat; the Chocolate Workshop, where you’ll learn about the entire chocolate making process from cacao bean to bar; or the Orchid Garden, where you’ll admire Ecuador’s unique and beautiful native orchids.

Lunch

After your morning activities, you’ll enjoy a traditional Ecuadorian lunch at a charming local restaurant in Mindo. Here you’ll savor local flavors while enjoying the tranquil surroundings of the cloud forest.

Afternoon

After lunch, continue your adventure with a scenic ride on the Tarabita (cable car), which offers spectacular views as it traverses the Mindo cloud forest to reach the area’s famous waterfalls. Once at the top, take a hike to explore the waterfalls, where you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and take some beautiful photographs of the cascading water and surrounding landscape.

Late Afternoon

As the day winds down, begin your journey back to Quito. Along the way you’ll have a chance to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures, with a few scenic stops for photography. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Quito at approximately 5:00 p.m.
