Day 6 : Lima - Cusco

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Cusco. Meet with our staff and transfer to your hotel upon arrival.

Afternoon, visit Sacsayhuaman (private tour, English-speaking guide) as well as the Ruins of Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, Qenqo, and the historical centers such as Santo Domingo/Coricancha and the Cathedral.

Day 7 : Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco

Breakfast in the hotel. Lunch is included in the Wayra Restaurant. Full-day excursion visiting Awana Kancha and the Pisaq Market, as well as the Ollantaytambo Fortress. Transfer and accommodation in the hotel after the excursion (private service with an English-speaking guide).

Day 8 : Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Breakfast in the hotel. Lunch is included on the Hiram-Bingham train from Poroy to Aguas Calientes.

After arriving, take the private 30-minute bus to Machu Picchu.

Afternoon: Board the Belmond Bingham bimodal luxury train service from Aguas Calientes to Cusco or descend to Aguas Calientes by bus. Transfer to hotel upon arrival (shared service, managed by Belmond Bingham Hiram).

Day 9 : Cusco - Lima

  • Iquitos: Iquitos’ Amazon rainforest has a humid tropical climate. Expect high temperatures and high humidity throughout the year.
    Rainfall is common, especially from December to May, with heavy downpours possible. Bring waterproof clothing and insect repellent to protect yourself from rain and mosquitoes.
  • Cusco and Sacred Valley: They have a temperate mountain climate. During the day, temperatures can be warm and sunny but can drop significantly at night.
  • Machu Picchu: It is a subtropical mountain climate. It can be humid and rainy all year round, with temperatures varying depending on altitude.
    Bring a waterproof jacket and a compact umbrella to protect you from the rain. It is also advisable to wear footwear suitable for walking on uneven and wet terrain.
